Corn Stock



This is a delicious stock to use for pumpkin and sweet corn soup



Ingredients

  • 3 cobs of corn

  • 2.5 L of water






Method

  • Remove husks and silks from corn and place into large stock pot

  • Cut corn kernels off cob. (reserve kernels for eating)

  • Place cobs into stock pot with husks and add water

  • Bring to boil them turn heat down to simmer

  • Simmer for 2-3 hours or until liquid no longer has water like taste
