This is delicious Egyptian nut and spice blend, and oldie but a goodie. This recipe is from the culinary spice guru Ian Hemphill, aka "Herbie". It is delicious sprinkled through salads, on roasted vegetables or with hummus.
3 1/2 tbsp hazelnuts
4 tbsp pistachio nuts
10 tbsp white sesame seeds
5 tbsp ground coriander seeds
2 1/2 tbsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Process nuts until small, being careful to not over process or you will end up with nut butter.
Separately grind the spices to a powder
Mix the ground nuts, spices and whole sesame seeds together
Store in airtight container in fridge
